Product Questions:

1. How do I charge my M.I.M Video Book? 

Connect your book to a computer or standard USB charger, it will charge with the USB-C cable which is supplied.

2. How do I play video & images in a certain order?

Playing sequence will be according to ie: Numbers & Letters. Title video 1,2,3 or a,b,c etc.

3. Battery life and charge for the M.I.M Video Book?

A full charge on the M.I.M Video Book takes approximately 2 hours. Leave book open to charge. Do not leave book on charge over the time stated.

4. USB-C Cable to Load/Charge?

Only use the provided cable to load videos and photos and to charge the M.I.M Video Book.

5. How do I remove the M.I.M Video Book safely?

Use the option “eject” to safely remove USB.

6. An error is showing up on my M.I.M Video Book! How do I fix this?

If videos and photos are not loading on the book, remove files and try again. If this does not work please read Q9.

7. My video is glitching and stutters! How do I fix this?

If you’re experiencing this on your video book, it could be due to a high bit rate or frame rate that’s causing playback issues. Fortunately, we can fix this! Please use the Video Converter located here.

8. My video is stretched! How do I fix this?

The M.I.M Video Books supports 16:9 aspect ratio. Other ratios will looked stretched to fit the screen. Re-encode video or image to desired aspect ratio. 

9. My videos are not playing on the book? Why?

If your video is not loading or playing on the M.I.M Video Book, this is the result of uploading a non-compatible file. This can be due to incompatible resolution size. The desired maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080. 

10. What resolutions are not compatible with the M.I.M Video Book?

4K or Ultra HD (UHD) 

11. Can I format the device?

DO NOT FORMAT THE DEVICE. This will void your warranty as it will break the software that is on the M.I.M Video Books.

14. Is the book reusable?

Yes! You can add and delete your videos and images as many times as you want!

15. Is the book waterproof?

No, the M.I.M Video Book is not waterproof. However, all our Video Books come with a protective sleeve. 

16. My USB-C cable is not connecting to my computer! How do I fix this? 

Try turning the USB-C cable the other direction. This should help the computer recognise the M.I.M Video Book.

17. Can I request custom writing on the M.I.M Video Books?

Yes! Please email us at mim.est23@gmail.com and we will try our best to accommodate you.

18. Play time for the M.I.M Video Book?

Play time for the M.I.M Video Book is approximately 3+ hours of HD videos and images. 

19. Does the M.I.M Video Book play music with images? 

No, the Video Book does not play music with images. However, you can edit images into a slide show and add music on. This will allow the Video Book to recognise and will play file as a "Video". 

 

Warranty and Returns:

Do the M.I.M Video Books have warranty?

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction on our M.I.M Video Books. All of our products come with a 6-month warranty, warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or by accidents. This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and is non-transferable. Any costs associated with the return of the product is the customers responsibility.

What if my order came in damaged?

Please inspect your order upon arrival, in the very rare situation where your order would arrive damaged, M.I.M will replace the item or in the event a replacement is not available, issue a full refund. Please inspect all shipments within 3 business days of accepting order, with all damages photographed and emailed to mim.est23@gmail.com. In order to qualify for a refund or replacement, please do so within timeframe stated and retain all packaging. 

What is your return policy?

Upon receiving your order, you have 14 days from delivery to request a return by email. Please email us at mim.est23@gmail.com with your order number attached in title.

Once you receive confirmation of your return from M.I.M, all shipments must be sent within 7 days otherwise the return may be denied. The customer will be responsible for shipping fees and shipping fees paid by the customer are not refundable.  For returns to be granted please return item in like-new and unused condition with all original packaging and materials. Upon receiving the item in like-new/unused condition, we will then process and credit original payment method for the full price of the item(s).
